Job Summary

Vitos Uptown is seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Work under the supervision of a Cook (general) to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook Canadian, Greek, and Italian cuisine dishes
  • Stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Equivalent experience in a related field
  • Own transportation
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and reliability
