About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Verve Senior Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in our Quality Improvement program to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Distribute medications accurately and on time, ensuring the well-being of our residents.
  • Perform treatments and assessments to identify changes in residents' conditions, such as falls or wounds.
  • Update resident care plans to reflect changing needs and ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to facilitate effective communication and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Initiate referrals to interdisciplinary team members to address resident concerns.
  • Work closely with departments to ensure the best possible care and service is provided to residents.
  • Utilize resources effectively by managing nursing supplies and equipment.
  • Provide direction and supervision to front-line nursing staff to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve staff actions or concerns, addressing matters with senior nursing staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure and good standing.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and MDS/RAI.
  • 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Experience working in a union setting.
  • Resident-oriented individual with a passion for delivering exceptional care.
