Position Overview

As a Sessional Instructor, you will engage students in the exploration of critical issues and discussions surrounding political thought, delving into diverse traditions and concepts that influence the political landscape in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive course outlines that reflect current debates in political thought.
  • Deliver engaging lectures that foster student participation and critical thinking.
  • Conduct constructive critiques to enhance student understanding and skills.
  • Ensure adherence to academic standards and requirements.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a terminal degree in a relevant field, such as political science, philosophy, or a related discipline, coupled with prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

  • Proven leadership in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
Compensation

This is a temporary/contract position that offers competitive remuneration on a per-course basis, along with additional benefits.
