Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of Passenger Service Agents to ensure seamless airport operations.
  2. Verify accuracy of weight and balance requirements for safe aircraft loading.
  3. Respond promptly to customer service complaints, focusing on positive resolutions.
  4. Manage check-in procedures, including reservations, ticketing, seat assignments, airport announcements, and international documentation checks.
  5. Ensure tasks are performed in accordance with Menzies Aviation's procedures and airline-specific policies.
  6. Assist customers with special needs and unaccompanied minors.
  7. Operate jetways, working at heights over 15 feet and responsible for opening/closing aircraft doors.
  8. Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags.
  9. Maintain safe and secure operations, adhering to health, safety, security, and government statutory requirements.
  10. Attend mandatory training sessions imposed by the Company and Airlines.
  11. Comfortably lift customer luggage with an average weight of 50 pounds, occasionally exceeding 70 pounds.
  12. Project a professional image at all times, adhering to company uniform standards.
  13. Lead by example.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  1. Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada.
  2. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  3. Fluent in English, with reading, writing, and speaking abilities.
  4. Complete and pass initial new hire classroom and on-the-job training.
  5. Valid G or G2 driver's license with a good driving record.
  6. Maintain required airport security clearance.
  7. Reliability is essential, as customers and colleagues rely on you.
  8. Be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  9. Comfortable working in an airport environment.
  10. Prolonged standing at the ticket counter and gate check-in areas is required.
