Position Overview

Corporate Security Officer

Pinchin Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Company Security Officer (CSO) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security of our organization, employees, and subcontractors while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain organizational, employee, and subcontractor security clearances.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Public Services and Procurement Canada's Contract Security Program (CSP).
  • Ensure compliance with Federal CSP and Controlled Goods Programs, along with other security frameworks.
  • Lead the administration of personnel security clearances, including new applications, renewals, and amendments.
  • Provide ongoing education and awareness regarding corporate security protocols to all employees.
  • Oversee the timely completion and submission of Personnel Security Screening Requests.
  • Maintain comprehensive security files, including sensitive documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts team to manage security requirements for subcontracts.
  • Develop and implement strategies to assess and mitigate risks across all operational areas.
  • Design and maintain robust security policies to protect corporate assets.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the security team.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their contributions to security objectives.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Security Management or Business Administration.
  • Experience in Federal Government, Consulting, or Construction sectors.
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager or Certified Chief Information Security Officer.
  • 5-7 years of leadership and coordination experience in corporate or government environments.
  • Strong understanding of Federal and Provincial contracting and security processes.
  • Eligibility to obtain Federal personal security clearance to the Level of Secret.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with successful security initiative implementations.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing and managing complex risks.
