Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at JZMS-MART LTD.
Job Summary:The Food Service Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department. This includes managing staff, implementing operational procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Set staff work schedules
- Supervise staff
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Conduct performance reviews
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service
- Order supplies and maintain inventory
- Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
- Hire and train staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Determine the size of food portions and costs
The Food Service Operations Manager will supervise a team of 5-10 people.
Computer and Technology Knowledge:The ideal candidate will have proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:The Food Service Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines. The role requires standing for extended periods and has a large workload with overtime required.
Personal Suitability:We are looking for a candidate with excellent oral communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and have a client-focused approach.
