Job Overview:

Industrial Light & Magic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visual Effects Artist to join our team as a Senior Generalist. This role involves creating high-quality, full CG environments, building complex assets, setting light rigs, and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create full CG environments from scratch, utilizing advanced software and techniques.
  • Develop and build complex assets, including set dressing and props, to enhance the visual fidelity of our productions.
  • Establish and implement light rigs, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of passes for compositing.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop tools and look development for sequences, driving innovation and excellence in our work.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the VFX industry, with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Proficiency in CG techniques, including modeling, texturing, and lighting.
  • Demonstrated artistic ability, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and workflows.
