Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Centre Director to lead our wholesale distribution team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, including identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the profit centre, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of sales and operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance of the profit centre, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: College and/or University degree in a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of wholesale distribution experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the profit centre.
  • Software Skills: Experience using M3 software.
