Executive Director, National Indigenous Economic Prosperity Institute

Accoravillage is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our National Indigenous Economic Prosperity Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote economic prosperity for Indigenous peoples.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the National Indigenous Economic Strategy for Canada
- Lead the advocacy and implementation of the 107 Calls to Economic Prosperity
- Manage the NIEPI budget and staff
- Provide leadership and strategic vision for the Institute
- Collaborate with internal teams and units to bring awareness of the National Indigenous Economic Strategy for Canada
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Business, Commerce, Social Sciences, Data Science, etc.)
- At least nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in positions providing exposure to community development, business development, and economic development
- Proven proficiency and experience facilitating, liaising, and advocating within an Indigenous organization and/or academic institution
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Ability to speak a First Nations Language
- Understanding of the unique relationship between the First Nations University of Canada and the University of Regina
