About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to join our team at IPEX Group of Companies. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Order Management: Plan and layout work assignments as advised by the maintenance management team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimizing downtime.
  • Inventory Control: Control and manage inventory levels, requisitioning new and spare parts as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and schedule preventative maintenance work orders to optimize equipment performance and extend lifespan.
  • Health and Safety: Identify and detail any safety requirements in the job, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance management, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a plastics manufacturing industry is a definite asset.
  • Solid understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management systems (CMMS) or software programs.
  • Demonstrated understanding of industrial maintenance operations and equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Proven knowledge and experience with 5S methodology.
  • Above average planning, organizational, and scheduling skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English both written and verbally.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
