About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Scotiabank's team as a Regional Estate Specialist. In this role, you will provide critical support to our Estate and Trust Coordinators (ETCs) in a region, ensuring the smooth execution of their business activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support ETCs in Prospect Management: Ensure new opportunities are properly captured and tracked within Salesforce, provide reporting, and direct leaders and advisors towards reporting around leads.
  • Support the ETC Sales Process: Prepare files for discovery meetings, request completion of estate planning questionnaires, and prepare new business documentation.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation and reporting, and provide immediate fee reporting support.
  • Business Development and Advisor Education: Schedule and confirm client appointments, prepare for seminars and webinars, and provide administrative support to ETCs.
  • Administrative Support: Manage the flow of mail and couriers, ensure ETCs are well-stocked with necessary supplies, and provide support around coordination of meetings and travel arrangements.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize several requirements at once and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce: Strong working knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
  • University Degree or Equivalent: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Estate and Trust Industry: Working knowledge of the estate and trust industry, including legal documents such as Wills, Trust Deeds, and Powers of Attorney.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingualism (English-French) is an asset.
