Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Whistler Personnel Solutions. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and managing accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable Processing: Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and credit memos.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor information, including contact details and payment terms.
  • Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile payments made to vendors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in accounting or a related field an asset.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  • Certifications: Registered Apprenticeship certificate an asset.
