Overview: CC&L Financial Group is looking for an Asset Mix Intern to support our Asset Mix team for a 6-month term. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, presenting numerous opportunities for professional development and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Asset Mix & Trading Intern, your contributions will include:
Analyzing client account details and confirming trade restrictions. Reviewing the Asset Mix Outage Report. Managing inquiries directed to the team. Evaluating unrealized gains. Assessing client accounts for tax efficiency. Reviewing alternative commitments and funding options. Generating and customizing reports. Handling ad-hoc requests and projects. Assisting in the planning and modeling of trades.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Asset Mix Intern position will be a student in their third or fourth year of an undergraduate program or pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Economics. We seek motivated individuals with a strong academic background who are eager to contribute to process efficiencies at CC&L. Additionally, the successful applicant will possess:
A minimum of one prior work term in a related role. A solid understanding and interest in capital markets and financial concepts. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. The capacity to work effectively under pressure with a high workload. A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with various account types (RRSP, TFSA, LIRA, FHSA, etc.).
