Communications Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Communications Intern to join our team at Seaspan. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a vital role in supporting our internal and external communications efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and implementation of communications strategies and plans.
- Support the creation and dissemination of engaging content across various channels.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure consistency and quality in all communications materials.
- Help to capture and maintain the team's information and digital assets.
- Assist with capturing and managing photos and video assets to help us share phenomenal stories.
- Enrollment in a Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism undergraduate degree program.
- A natural storyteller with a strive to bring an organization's narratives into the spotlight.
- Strong writing/editing skills and the ability to produce content for a variety of channels.
- Project management and execution skills, with the ability to lead multiple deadlines with quick turnaround times.
- Creative and design skills, particularly with photography and videography. Experience editing videos and handling digital assets an asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships across the organization and with outside vendors.

- Parking is included and to assist those that are using transit, we operate a complimentary shuttle bus Monday through Friday with various pick up and drop off points around North Vancouver.
We require a full-time commitment Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with an hourly rate of $26.00/hour.
