Exams Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Exams Supervisor to join our team at Thompson Rivers University. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accessibility Services Test Centre, ensuring the smooth delivery of exams and assessments to students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train staff in the Test Centre, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Coordinate exam scheduling, invigilation, and security procedures to maintain the integrity of exams.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support students with disabilities.
- Liaise with students, faculty, and staff to resolve issues and provide information about exam procedures.
- Review and evaluate exam results, making recommendations for improvements and modifications to exam procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with technology solutions to support evolving needs in post-secondary assessment and accessibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field.
- Three years of related experience at a post-secondary institution, including experience in scheduling systems, examination management, and technology support.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Typical office environment with regular sitting and computer use.
- Occasional standing and walking to monitor centre activities.
- General office conditions with contact with staff, faculty, and students with disabilities.
