Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled and proactive casual Laboratory Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to the Laboratory division.
Under the supervision of the Chief Technologist or their delegate, the Laboratory Administrative Assistant will be responsible for various clerical tasks including data entry; receiving, organizing, and validating specimens in accordance with requisition and physician directives; and performing accessioning of specimens. Additional responsibilities include clerical and receptionist tasks such as managing phone inquiries and maintaining departmental files.
Compensation:
The hourly wage is set at $26.18.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; shifts may vary between 07:00 to 15:00, 09:00 to 17:00, and 08:00 to 16:00.

This facility is a comprehensive care hospital featuring 26 acute care beds, four ICU beds, and five crisis stabilization beds. It offers a range of services including laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, pharmacy services, community care, mental health support, and various surgical specialties.
