Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Holloway Lodging Limited Partnership - Super 8 Fort Nelson.
Job Summary:The Hotel Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes planning and coordinating activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, ensuring safety standards and departmental policies are met, and maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping services.
- Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, and that all housekeeping staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms, and ensure that all housekeeping staff have access to necessary resources.
- Coordinate in-house laundry services and ensure that all linens and uniforms are clean and well-maintained.
- Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out, and that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with these regulations.
- Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
