Job Summary:
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Quality Line Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Line Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough product inspections in assembly to identify and address quality concerns.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement process/product improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality.
- Investigate non-conformances and determine disposition of non-conforming/defective parts or components.
- Liaise with suppliers, engineering, service, purchasing, and shop floor staff to develop corrective action plans for non-conforming parts/processes.
Requirements:
- Technologist Diploma/Certificate in Quality Assurance or Quality Control preferred.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years practical shop floor experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- General knowledge of blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with ISO 9000 certification.
- General knowledge of shop floor safety rules and regulations.
