Job Title: Chief Information Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer to lead our IT organization and drive strategic growth.

About the Role

The CIO will be responsible for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that align with our company's mission and goals. This includes providing vision and leadership for IT planning, organization, and development, as well as overseeing the acquisition and deployment of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in strategic and operational governance processes as a member of the senior management team.
  • Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve our company's goals.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure that supports the needs of the business.
  • Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operational procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-effective investment in IT systems and resources.
  • Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments.
  • Develop, track, and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analysis for IT spending and initiatives.
  • Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
  • Assess and make recommendations on the improvement or re-engineering of the IT organization.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 10-15 years of experience managing and/or directing an IT operation. They will also have strong business skills, experience with strategic planning and execution, and a deep understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities.

The candidate should also have a proven track record of applying IT in solving business problems, as well as experience handling complexities and challenges of outsourcing and partnership relationships. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language are also essential.
