Job Title: Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Amaco Construction Equipment Inc. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a geographical sales territory, identifying and cultivating relationships with potential customers, and increasing aggregate equipment sales and rentals within this territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a sales territory, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of success in an outside sales role, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel routinely, with occasional overnight stays.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel to the US for manufacturer training or tradeshows.
  • Authorization to work in Canada.
