Job SummaryThe Facility Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the execution of operations and maintenance contracts for the Facility Management & Operations (FMO) division. This role will involve coordinating and tracking subcontracted maintenance activities, executing Additional Work Requests (AWRs), and managing project documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and Track Subcontracted Maintenance Activities
- Provide coordination and tracking of subcontracted maintenance activities, including reporting of any corrective repairs or deficiencies.
- Escort subcontractors onsite as required.
- Execute Additional Work Requests (AWRs)
- Assist with execution of subcontracted AWRs by performing job showings with approved subcontractors.
- Manage RFQ process and award.
- Coordinate awarded projects and track project costs / billing.
- Manage Project Documentation
- Review, track, and submit project documentation, including applicable H&S plans, shop drawings, and site plans.
- Track and Analyze Project Costs
- Track, analyze, and trend project costs.
- Administrative Duties
- Create and update work orders and purchase orders in CMMS system.
- Communicate with clients and other facility occupants to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in monthly operational meetings with clients.
- Provide monthly client and internal management reports as per contract.
- Manage contract operations regarding safety, productivity, communication, and efficiency to the standards of both Black & McDonald Limited and the client.

- Post-secondary education or trade-related experience is required.
- 1-3 years' experience in the construction industry is an asset.
- Motivated with the ability to work with strict timelines in a fast-paced team environment.
- Bilingualism (French/English) required.
- Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Projects, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must possess strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and the ability to communicate and interact with all levels of customers, employees, and management.
- Basic knowledge of building systems and their operation.
