About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide clinical evaluations, equipment recommendations, and education to clients and their families. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Long Term Care and ADP Authorization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments and specialized seating and positioning assessments
  • Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs, working with local vendors to facilitate trials and applications
  • Provide education on seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living, and adaptive aides
  • Record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts, adhering to College of Occupational Therapists guidelines

Qualifications

  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists
  • ADP Authorization is a must-have
  • Experience in Long Term Care is preferred
