Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at The Salvation Army. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's HR initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR-related matters
  • Conduct workplace investigations and resolve grievances
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address HR-related issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, and Occupational Health and Safety Act
Requirements
  • University degree in social sciences, human resources, or related field
  • Valid HR designation (e.g., CPHR)
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR generalist role
  • Strong working knowledge of HR legislation and regulations
  • Experience developing and maintaining processes to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Proficient with computer and Microsoft applications

The target hiring range for this position is $65,011 to $97,517. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
