HR Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at The Salvation Army. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the organization's strategic objectives by providing expert HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees on HR-related matters, including employment law, labour relations, and workplace investigations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective HR processes and procedures.
- Conduct workplace investigations and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
- Provide support and guidance on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and labour relations.
- University degree in social sciences, human resources, or related field.
- Completion or working towards completion of valid HR designation (i.e., CPHR).
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a human resources generalist role.
- Strong working knowledge of applicable HR legislation and regulations.
- Working knowledge of human resources information systems; Workday preferred.
- Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible self-starter with the ability to multitask.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated aptitude in problem solving.
- Ability to take initiative to leverage approaches for effectiveness and efficiency.
