Service Desk Support Specialist

MBC is seeking a dedicated and driven Service Desk Technician to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
- Proactively monitor and investigate alerts displayed on our Network Operations Center (NOC) dashboard.
- Effectively manage tickets within our ticketing system to track, prioritize, and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the NOC team to escalate unresolved tickets and ensure timely resolution.
- Communicate incident details to technicians responsible for resolving technical problems.
- Participate in after-hours on-call support rotations to provide ongoing assistance.
- Actively pursue required certifications to enhance your skills and knowledge base.
Technical Expertise
We are looking for an individual with a solid understanding of network infrastructure services and foundational experience in various technical domains, including Windows Server, Exchange, and virtualization platforms.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills.
- A willingness to adapt to new technologies and learn continuously.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience & Education
- One or more years of experience in a service desk environment or a related field.
- ITIL Foundations certification is highly preferred.
- Microsoft Network Infrastructure certifications are a valuable asset.
