Job Description

Zendesk is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving customer happiness by delivering technical information and solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of technical information and solutions.
  • Take ownership of the prime technical relationship with customers to drive customer happiness and satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage and deliver technical information to customers through various channels, including onsite, online, and virtual meetings.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Mid Market/Enterprise software selling.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Experience mapping RFI/RFP requirements to software solutions.
  • Knowledge in web/scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SaaS applications.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution.
  • Outstanding solution scoping abilities, using existing solutions and influencing new product development.
  • Obvious passion and focus on developing interpersonal relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is a must; graduate degree is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Contact Center Experience.
  • Specific vertical industry expertise (e.g. Retail, Financial Services).
  • Previous consulting experience implementing enterprise class software solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Customer Service Software, ITSM, data warehousing, business intelligence, workforce engagement management.
  • Experience developing or selling Artificial Intelligence solutions.

The US annualized OTE (On Target Earnings) range for this position is $138,000.00-$206,000.00 with a pay mix of 80/20 (base/commission). This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
