Auto Claims Specialist I

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate new claims via phone communication with clients, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of their concerns.
- Conduct interviews with the insured and/or witnesses to gather detailed accounts of the incident.
- Evaluate the coverage requirements to determine the eligibility of the claim.
- Analyze collected information to make informed decisions regarding liability and assess damages accurately.
- Resolve claims in a fair manner, validating damages and processing payments accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to pursue and achieve CIP designation for obtaining adjuster licenses.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- No prior Canadian work experience is necessary, but eligibility to work in Canada is required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset, though not mandatory.
