About the Role

The Head of Relationships - Sales will be responsible for leading a team of customer-focused sales and services individuals to drive sales across the Nutrition & Energy product ranges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining sales budgets and sales forecasts to inform Integrated Business Planning and strategic planning processes.
  • Developing sales strategy, including planning, process, and methodology, with clear roles to support effectiveness.
  • Driving the implementation of an Integrated Business Planning process within the sales teams.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with customers across the Nutrition and Energy product categories.
  • Providing direction to the Sales & Customer Service teams to optimize overall productivity and performance.
  • Leveraging real, verified data to inform decision-making processes.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and execute new business opportunities.
  • Working with the Head of Marketing to develop, implement, and evaluate marketing initiatives across Nutrition and Energy product categories.
  • Understanding customer landscapes and developing go-to-market strategies for lead generation, monitoring, and conversion.
  • Participating as a member of the GrainCorp Nutrition and Energy Leadership team to drive sustainable business growth.

About Your Experience

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in an agribusiness, FMCG, F2B, or B2B sector, with tertiary qualifications in marketing, economics, business, or a related discipline. Key requirements include:

  • Understanding of agricultural markets.
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused digital transformation.
  • Ability to use a range of strategies and skills to create and coach a highly motivated, results-oriented team.
  • Collaborative and exceptional communication skills.
