We are in search of a Head of Strategic Partnerships to spearhead the vision, acquisition, development, and expansion of our industry collaborations.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in broadening our strategic alliances and partnerships. Your responsibilities will include identifying, nurturing, and managing relationships with key stakeholders to bolster our market presence and stimulate business growth.
This position is vital to our success and entails crafting and executing strategies to establish and maintain partnerships that align with our business goals. The ideal candidate will appreciate the importance of forging strong, collaborative relationships with industry leaders and partners. We seek a proactive, dynamic, organized, and relationship-oriented individual to develop and implement a world-class partnership strategy. Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer, the Head of Strategic Partnerships will formulate, develop, and execute Blue J's partnership strategy. We are at a thrilling juncture in our growth journey and are eager to find someone who shares our enthusiasm as we lead the tax research sector.
You will collaborate across various functions, including sales, marketing, and customer success, and we anticipate the contributions you will make to propel us forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Strategy: Formulating and implementing a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with Blue J's business objectives and growth aspirations.
- Relationship Development: Identifying and fostering relationships with potential partners, including industry associations, professional services firms, technology providers, and other relevant entities.
- Negotiation: Leading negotiations and overseeing the execution of partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaboration: Partnering closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to guarantee successful partnership implementation and integration.
- Market Research: Conducting market analysis to identify partnership opportunities and remain informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Performance Evaluation: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess partnership success and reporting on performance to senior leadership.
- Industry Representation: Representing Blue J at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote our brand and partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Over 8 years in business development, partnerships, or a related field, ideally within the technology or professional services sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a methodical execution approach.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the tax and legal technology landscape is advantageous.
