Position Overview:

This position plays a crucial role within the "Global IT" division, concentrating on the deployment and ongoing assistance of FICO (Finance and Controlling) functionalities utilizing SAP. The perfect candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid educational background, and a proactive approach, combined with extensive IT knowledge and a comprehensive grasp of financial systems. This role requires active participation throughout the complete lifecycle of SAP FICO processes, encompassing analysis, design, implementation, and continuous support.

Key Responsibilities:


• Conduct thorough analysis of business needs and identify gaps not addressed by current systems or implementations.


• Execute a comprehensive needs assessment to evaluate existing applications and pinpoint opportunities for system enhancements.


• Propose viable solutions within the SAP framework and estimate the resources required to address identified business needs and gaps.


• Implement solutions through SAP configuration, master data setup, or coding, and support project rollouts.


• Provide daily SAP end-user support, dedicating approximately 50% of time to resolving issues and offering assistance as needed.


• Utilize Jira for project management and issue tracking.


• Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team morale and performance, demonstrating a consulting mindset and strong personal integrity.


• Facilitate coordination and collaboration with external consultants (customers and suppliers) as well as internal team members.


• Maintain time tracking and documentation in accordance with Global IT standards.


• Ensure accurate billing for projects and changes.


• Design practical and innovative technical solutions for business requirements, balancing technology, cost, and implementation timelines.


• Develop and adhere to standards for design, coding, testing, change control, code deployment, software controls, configuration management, continuous integration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of application issues.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable. Familiarity with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and BW is advantageous. Previous experience in the automotive sector is beneficial but not mandatory. Technical expertise in SAP Report Writer and knowledge of Business Warehouse (BW) are preferred. Certification in SAP or related fields will be considered a plus.

Educational Background:


• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, systems trainer, systems designer, technical support, or applications programmer.


• Experience working with FICO modules in SAP and a solid understanding of the Finance and Controlling module, including its interaction with other SAP modules.


• Involvement in designing and configuring SAP finance solutions on SAP S/4HANA platforms.


• Proficiency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written) is required for supporting diverse operations.


• Experience in the automotive industry is desirable.
