About The Crepe Kitchen Restaurant

We are a reputable restaurant seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the standards of our restaurant.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions.
  • Cuisine Specialties: French cuisine.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment.
