About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at Bill's Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, including scheduling, route planning, and dispatching.
  • Monitor and Control the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Train and Develop our truck drivers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage and Maintain our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance of our vehicles, scheduling and overseeing repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Requisition and Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support our operations.
  • Ensure Compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully supervising and coordinating teams, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
