Job Summary

Majha Trucking Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising truck drivers and projects, ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of truck drivers and projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company policies.
  • Train and Develop drivers on new procedures, policies, and equipment, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and Operate signal and track switch control panels, ensuring safe and efficient operation of our fleet.
  • Coordinate and Schedule activities, including driver assignments, route planning, and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure Compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals of equipment and vehicles, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal fleet utilization.
  • Requisition and Order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Support Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, including providing physical, visual, and auditory accessibility accommodations, and participating in programs that support persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role in the trucking industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
