About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team at MAJHA TRUCKING LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Truck Operations
    • Oversee the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently.
    • Coordinate the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and pickup.
  • Train and Develop Truck Drivers
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to new drivers, ensuring they meet our high standards.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve driver performance and safety.
  • Monitor and Maintain Fleet Operations
    • Monitor the condition and maintenance of our fleet, ensuring all vehicles are in good working order.
    • Coordinate repairs and maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations
    • Ensure all drivers and staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations.
    • Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses.
  • Support for Diverse Groups
    • Provide physical accessibility accommodations for employees with disabilities.
    • Offer mentorship and coaching to employees from diverse backgrounds.
    • Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
