Supervisor of Refrigeration Workshop

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Refrigeration Workshop to join our team at Erb Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our refrigeration workshop, ensuring the highest level of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of refrigeration technicians and mechanics, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Manage and maintain the workshop's inventory, equipment, and tools, ensuring that all necessary resources are available to support the team's work.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Provide training and development opportunities to refrigeration technicians and mechanics to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- At least 8 years of experience in refrigeration operations, with a strong background in workshop management and supervision.
- Thermo King and Carrier training an asset.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
