Job Summary:

Cineplex is seeking a skilled Server to provide exceptional guest service and ensure a memorable dining experience for our patrons. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take accurate orders from guests and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Clean and maintain the dining area, including tables, chairs, and restrooms.
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
  • Attend to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of restaurant service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate required.
