Niagara Children's Centre is seeking a skilled professional to fill a temporary full-time position as a Communicative Disorders Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with children and youth who require support with various developmental and communicative delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive communication and hearing screenings to identify areas of need.
- Develop and implement effective communication intervention programs tailored to individual needs.
- Provide therapy materials and plan sessions to support children's progress.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Communicative Disorders Assistant program.
- Ability to work effectively with children and families.
- Current CPR and NVCI certifications.
