Essential Technical Expertise and Understanding of Accounting Principles:
Ability to cultivate effective relationships within the Finance department and across the organization. Capacity to operate under stringent deadlines while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Assist in the prompt preparation of monthly and annual financial reporting packages, which include bank reconciliations, balance sheets, inter-company transactions, and sub-ledgers. Timely and accurate reporting of government-related filings and tax obligations.Core Responsibilities and Duties
Aid in the creation of detailed financial reporting packages for all divisions on a monthly basis, covering Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and inventory metrics. Perform balance sheet reconciliations with diligence, ensuring the precision and upkeep of sub-ledgers. Conduct inter-company reconciliations to facilitate smooth financial operations among affiliated entities. Support the maintenance of the General Ledger, including the documentation of all significant entries and necessary working papers for accurate financial reporting. Assist in overseeing the capital asset continuity schedule, ensuring precise and current records of company assets. Guarantee the accurate and timely execution of Month-End processes. Aid in the processing of wire transfers, EFT, and ACH payments in collaboration with the Accounts Payable team. Prepare detailed working papers to assist in year-end audits. Provide analytical support to the Accounting Manager by generating relevant account and financial analyses. Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and compliance with all Government Reporting obligations, including WSIB, EHT, Tax, etc. Engage actively in supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting division. Adhere strictly to the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations, along with the health, safety, environmental policies, and Quality standards established by Multy Home. Execute any other reasonable tasks assigned by Department Management or designated personnel.Qualifications:

Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Progress towards CPA designation is required. Experience: A minimum of one to two years of relevant experience in Accounting, ideally within a manufacturing context. Management Reporting: Experience in contributing to accurate and comprehensive management reports. Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities to manage financial data effectively. Data Management: Ability to multitask and handle substantial volumes of data while maintaining data integrity. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Proactive Attitude: Demonstrate a proactive approach to managing changes and implementing enhancements in accounting processes. Team Collaboration: A strong business partner and team player with a positive and constructive attitude, contributing positively to team dynamics.Language and Communication Skills
Proficient English communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to communicate effectively, exhibiting a positive demeanor and being a true team player. Capability to compose routine reports and correspondence in English. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees within the organization.Technical Proficiencies
Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and Word at an intermediate to advanced level. The candidate should be skilled in utilizing these software tools for various accounting tasks efficiently. Previous experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics, is essential. The candidate should be familiar with navigating and utilizing ERP functionalities to support financial processes.Additional Qualifications
Proven ability to maintain organized work processes and efficiently manage accounting tasks. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills to effectively address financial challenges. The candidate should be adept at managing multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines is crucial in this role.
