Destination Auto Group, a leading automotive dealership, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading a high-performing sales team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Direct, motivate, and train a team of sales professionals to achieve outstanding sales results and exceed customer expectations.
- Inventory Management and Acquisition: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to meet sales goals, including acquiring and reconditioning vehicles for sale.
- Appraisals and Sales Coaching: Conduct thorough trade-in appraisals and provide expert coaching and guidance to sales team members on best practices and sales techniques.
- Customer Relationships and Retention: Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, and driving repeat business and referrals.
- Performance Management and Reporting: Conduct regular performance reviews, analyze sales data, and provide actionable insights to inform sales strategies and improve team performance.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Sales Management, preferably with a focus on Pre-Owned Car Sales and Acquisition.
- Leadership and Team Building: Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams, with a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and customer satisfaction.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with dealership management systems, CRM software, and other relevant tools and technologies.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, sales team members, and other stakeholders.
- Licensing and Certification: Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract and a valid VSA license.
