About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our team at Destination Auto Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our sales team to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Direct, motivate, and train the sales team to achieve exceptional sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Analyze market trends, determine inventory needs, acquire vehicles, and oversee reconditioning requirements, with a strong focus on Pre-Owned Car Sales and Acquisition.
  • Appraisals: Conduct thorough trade-in appraisals to support sales activities and ensure accurate vehicle valuations.
  • Sales Coaching: Provide expert coaching and leadership on best sales practices to the team, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster positive and successful guest relationships, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, assist with upper management requests, and handle various duties as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Sales Management, preferably with a focus on Pre-Owned Car Sales and Acquisition.
  • Team Building: Proven ability to build strong team and guest relationships, driving sales growth and customer loyalty.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Deskit, Dealersocket, CDK, and CRM software, with a strong understanding of sales analytics and market trends.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and upper management.
  • Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract and a valid VSA license.
