About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gameplay Animator to join our team on the Battlefield project. As a key member of our Gameplay team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality animations that bring our game to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement player locomotion systems, ensuring a seamless and immersive gaming experience.
  • Collaborate with 3D Designers and Programmers to deliver high-quality animations that meet our quality targets.
  • Author high-quality motion capture animations that set the standard for the team, with a focus on realism and grounded military style.
  • Design and implement systems in-engine to balance animation quality targets and gameplay responsiveness.
  • Provide feedback and inspiration to other animators on the team, promoting the animation direction and philosophy across all disciplines.
  • Work with technical animators to establish character rig needs and push our tools and workflows to the next level.
  • Promote communication and collaboration with peers across varying disciplines.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of animation experience, with credits on at least two AAA titles where you played a significant role in the creation of player locomotion systems.
  • Proficient in all relevant software, including Maya and Motionbuilder.
  • Experience working and iterating on gameplay systems in-engine.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, both technical and cross-discipline.
  • A demo reel that showcases examples of high-quality keyframe animation and motion capture.
  • Experience directing mocap talent and motion matching are a plus.
