About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled Gameplay Animator to join our team and contribute to the creation of our next-generation games. As a Gameplay Animator, you'll be responsible for crafting high-quality animations that bring our characters to life. You'll work closely with our production, design, and technical teams to ensure that our animations meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities- Create character-specific animations using Unreal Engine 5 and our animation blueprint system
- Develop animations from concept to implementation, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for players
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the style and feel of our animations
- Refine animations and gameplay feel to ensure the best possible quality within the given timeline
- Expertise in gameplay animation, with a strong background in stylized keyframe animation
- Knowledge of current and emerging animation technologies, including Unreal Engine, Motion Matching, and State machines
- Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of game design principles, player psychology, and user experience fundamentals
- A strong animation reel showcasing expertise in key-framed character and creature animation
- Relevant experience in both gameplay and cinematic animation
