Delivery Manager

The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a skilled Delivery Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of critical tools supporting Nova Scotia's publicly funded immunization program and Public Health transformation.
As a key member of the Public Health Information Solutions (PHIS) team, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to execute on evolving priorities, consult, plan, and deliver quality solutions that impact users.
Primary Accountabilities- Build deep understanding of how solutions impact users and champion ongoing initiatives to improve functionality, quality, and cost.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of product or service functionality and maintain operations, including troubleshooting and implementing corrective action.
- Develop strategies to engage with users, prioritize improvements, and manage enhancement budgets.
- Advocate for best practices in product/service development and support, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Lead the delivery of product/service upgrades and patch releases, and maintain up-to-date program documentation and operational support plans.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, and lead Threat Risk Assessments, Vulnerabilities Assessments, and Penetration testing as required.
You have a passion for making things better for users and can negotiate with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive appropriate outcomes. You are an excellent facilitator, with great written and verbal communication skills, and can simplify and communicate technical concepts to business partners, peers, and leadership.
You possess a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related, plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or a combination of training and experience that is relevant to the role and its objectives.
Experience with vendor management and outsourced service providers is a significant asset, as is having experience in the public sector or healthcare environment.
