As the PHIS Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of critical tools such as CANImmunize's ClinicFlow, eConsent, and VaxRecordNS, which support Nova Scotia's publicly funded immunization program and Public Health transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to engage with users of the products and prioritize suggested improvements and additional functionality.
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to troubleshoot and implement corrective action in a timely manner.
- Manage enhancement budgets, follow program governance, and ensure adequate and timely reporting.
- Advocate for best practices in product/service development and support.
- Communicate effectively and ensure adherence to departmental processes and procedures.
- Lead the delivery of product/service upgrades and patch releases.
- Lead the problem management process by collaborating with subject matter experts and technical teams.
- Escalate technical issues to other teams as necessary and navigate the organization to find solutions to complex issues.
- Maintain an up-to-date program documentation and operational support plan.
- Identify potential risks to the product or services and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Lead Threat Risk Assessments, Vulnerabilities Assessments, and Penetration testing as required.
You will have a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience. You will also have sound experience in project management on complex projects or programs, and experience with vendor management and outsourced service providers is a significant asset. Having experience in the public sector or healthcare environment is also considered a strong asset.

Pay Grade: EC 10
Salary Range: $38,809.04 Bi-Weekly
