We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Manager to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing oversight of our public health solutions, including CANImmunize's ClinicFlow, eConsent, and VaxRecordNS. The successful candidate will be responsible for building deep understanding of the solutions' impact on our users and championing ongoing initiatives to improve functionality, quality, and cost.
Key Responsibilities- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the product or service being supported and what it takes to maintain operations.
- Develop strategies to engage with users of the products and prioritize with business leaders suggested improvements and additional functionality.
- Work directly with the vendor and various technical teams to troubleshoot and implement corrective action in a timely manner.
- Manage enhancement budgets, follow program governance, and ensure adequate and timely reporting.
- Advocate for best practices in product/service development and support.
- Communicate effectively and ensure adherence to departmental processes and procedures.
- Lead the delivery of product/service upgrades and patch releases.
- Lead the problem management process by collaborating with subject matter experts and technical teams.
- Escalate technical issues to other teams as necessary and navigate the organization to find solutions to complex issues.
We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or a related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience. The ideal candidate will have sound experience in project management on complex projects or programs, with a PMP or PRINCE2 certification being considered an asset. Experience with vendor management and outsourced service providers is also a significant asset.
