Program Manager for User Advocacy and Engagement

**Job Summary**
IBM Computing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Advocate, User Group Program Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our User Advocacy team, you will be responsible for fostering a thriving user group community through strategic events, empowering user group leaders, and driving engagement through compelling content.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Foster a thriving user group community through strategic events such as meetups, conferences, and webinars.
- Continuously refine and optimize the approach to elevate user group participation and drive deeper community connections.
- Empower and support user group leaders, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.
- Partner with the User Advocacy Program Evangelist to craft compelling content that showcases the success of user groups and drives excitement for upcoming events.
- Monitor key performance indicators, providing regular reports on program success and areas for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
**Requirements**
- Prior experience in an advocacy role (client advocate, developer relations, user advocacy, program evangelist, community manager) within technology.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire, with experience in managing and growing communities.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse audiences, including senior executives.
- Project Management: Strong project management abilities, with a disciplined approach to achieving goals.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Professional Network: Established connections within the tech community and advocacy domain.
**Note**
This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following US sanctioned countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions of Ukraine) on a work permit, you are not eligible for employment in this position.
