Job Title: Bus Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic to join our team at Société de transport de Saguenay. As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses to ensure safe and reliable transportation for our passengers.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including buses, trucks, and trailers
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other components
  • Work with electrical and electronic systems to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
