Job Title: Bus Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic to join our team at Société de transport de Saguenay. As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of buses, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair buses, including routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of parts
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with buses
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Document and record all maintenance and repair activities
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment and diesel engines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
