Job Title: Bus Mechanic

Join our team at Société de transport de Saguenay as a Bus Mechanic. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of buses.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buses, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other critical components.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues and improve maintenance processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other critical components.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
