Tiger Calcium Services Inc., a prominent producer of calcium chloride in North America, is seeking a proficient Senior Heavy Duty Mechanic to enhance our operations. In this role, you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of our commercial vehicle fleet while supervising the nightshift maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide, mentor, and develop mechanics
  • Assist in diagnosing and executing repairs
  • Create and evaluate work orders utilizing TMT Fleet Maintenance Software
  • Conduct CVIP inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on trucks and trailers
  • Support apprentices in skill enhancement
  • Comply with Tiger's Safety Management System protocols
  • Encourage ongoing learning and operational improvement
  • Occasional after-hours work may be necessary
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with CVIP certification
  • At least 5 years of experience, including 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • Valid Alberta Class 1 Driver's license (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Cummins engines, hydraulic systems, and TMT Software (preferred)
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical challenges
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
